“Benjamin Netanyahu”: We are destroying the Islamic Republic’s “axis of evil” in the region

Benjamin Netanyahu announced yesterday the destruction of the Islamic Republic’s “axis of evil” in the region.

Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, attended a special session of the country’s parliament yesterday, which was held in honor of Santiago Peña, President of Paraguay. In his remarks at this special session, he said: “Since last year’s Hamas attack, Israel has been forced to fight what the Islamic Republic calls the ‘axis of resistance,’ but it is strongly responding to the Islamic Republic’s warmongering.”

The Bashar al-Assad government, according to Iranian government claims, was the main link in the axis of resistance in the Middle East that fell, and its collapse has caused a significant weakening of the Islamic Republic’s regional influence. Netanyahu also, in relation to this matter, considered the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime a direct result of the strikes that Israel has inflicted on the Islamic Republic and Hezbollah.

He said in this regard: “The strikes against the Iranian government and Hezbollah have triggered a chain reaction throughout the Middle East and among those seeking liberation from this oppressive and despotic regime.”

Netanyahu emphasized Israel’s willingness to establish relations with the new Syrian regime and added: “If the new Syrian regime allows the Islamic Republic to re-strengthen its positions or allows its weapons to be transferred to Hezbollah, we will respond decisively and it will pay a heavy price.”

He also, by posting a message on the social media network X, warned about the possibility of the new Syrian regime cooperating with the Islamic Republic.
