ICC Report on Christianity Growth in Iran

The Christian organization ICC reported on the growth of Christianity in Iran in its annual report.

The Christian organization ICC is one of the international organizations supporting Christians, and in its annual report has addressed the critical situation of Christians in various countries. In this report, the growth of Christianity in Iran is also mentioned despite pressures, persecution and torture, which has been referred to as an encouraging example.

The aforementioned Christian organization in its annual report for 2024, in addition to providing a comprehensive analysis of the global index of persecution against Christians, has examined persecution and harassment against them in 20 countries, which describes the painful situation of Christians because of their belief and faith in Jesus Christ.

Jeff King, the head of this organization, stated regarding these reports: “We have searched every corner of the world to identify critical areas of Christian persecution. Currently, nearly 300 million Christians worldwide are being persecuted, imprisoned, tortured and even killed in various forms.”

In the aforementioned report, while describing the situation governing the status of Christians, it provides solutions to support them through prayer, support and practical action, which has attracted the attention of journalists, decision-makers and supporters of the Christian community.

In the report of the international Christian support organization ICC, important developments in the global index of persecution are mentioned, which are pointed out below:

“In Nicaragua, persecution of Christians has intensified and systematic state persecution against them has increased significantly.
In India, Hindu nationalists violate the rights of Christians and other religious and sectarian minorities through anti-conversion laws and mob violence.

Christians in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria face brutal attacks by radical Islamists and displacement. However, there are also encouraging points in the report. The global index of persecution contains accounts of the perseverance and growth of the church even in the most difficult circumstances, such as in Iran and Indonesia. Despite the increase in persecution of Christians globally, the preaching of the gospel continues and God’s kingdom continues to grow.”
