Pope Francis: We All Must Pray for a Swift End to the War in Gaza

Pope Francis, in a letter to the founder and establisher of the University of Religions and Denominations, wrote: We all must pray for a swift end to the war in Gaza.
Hojjat al-Islam “Seyyed Abolhasan Navab,” the founder and establisher of the University of Religions and Denominations, wrote a letter regarding the Israel-Gaza war and condemned the bombing of “Al-Mamoudani” Hospital and the church of “Saint Porphyrius” in Gaza, which was carried out by the Israeli army.
Pope Francis, the leader of Catholics worldwide, also sent a letter in response to him through Cardinal “Michael Angel Ayusogishwot” to Seyyed Abolhasan Navab, the founder and establisher of the University of Religions and Denominations, and while expressing appreciation for him, wrote: “I want to thank and express gratitude for the noble sentiments you expressed regarding this sorrowful incident. An incident that deeply wounded the Christians of Gaza and all the inhabitants of the city. We all pray for a swift end to this war, because many people, especially the innocent, have been severely affected by the catastrophic consequences of this sorrowful event. I seize this opportunity to wish you peace and fruitful work.”
It is worth noting that in the war that began with Hamas’s attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, the world witnessed violations, kidnappings, child killings, burning of victims’ bodies, torture, and assault on Israeli hostages by the forces of the terrorist organization Hamas. The terrorist organization Hamas, without any regard for the lives of the people of Gaza from children to adults, initiated a war that has been paid for most dearly by the innocent people of Palestine and Israel, with their numbers increasing every day.
