“Yahya Rahim Safavi”: We Declare Our Support for Al-Aqsa Flood Operation

Yahya Rahim Safavi, following Hamas’s attack on Israel today, said: We declare our support for the Al-Aqsa Flood operation.

Following Hamas’s attacks on Israel today, which were named “Al-Aqsa Flood,” reactions from various countries have emerged regarding these attacks. So far, Ukraine has declared its support for Israel and Iran has declared its support for Hamas in this regard.

Yahya Rahim Safavi, an advisor to Ali Khamenei, said regarding these attacks: “We congratulate the Palestinian mujahideen for this operation and declare our support for the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, and we are confident that the resistance front also supports this matter.”

He further stated: “Certainly, the defenders of the shrine and great martyrs like Qasem Soleimani are also alongside these mujahideen, and we will stand by the Palestinian mujahideen until the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem. We are witnessing the organized massacre of Palestinian children by Zionists, and the killing of Palestinian children and youth by Zionists is taking place in the shadow of the silence of international organizations, and we do not witness any reaction from international organizations against these massacres.”

In his speech, he described the massacre of Palestinian children as heartlessness and continued: “In the latest statistics as of 2023, 37 Palestinian children have been martyred by Zionist military forces. The year 2023 compared to the past 15 years has been the bloodiest year for Palestinian children. Many Palestinian children and youth have been martyred by direct fire from Zionists, and many others have been imprisoned and heavy sentences have been issued for them.”

The remarks of Khamenei’s advisor were made at a time when over the past year in Iran, we have also witnessed the heartlessness that Rahim Safavi is referring to. Many children who on a Friday in Baluchistan were sprayed with bullets by regime forces, turning that day into a bloody Friday in Baluchistan.

Many other children, youth, and young people throughout Iran have been directly shot in the head, eyes, genitals, and other parts of their bodies and lost their lives or were severely wounded. Many are still spending their time in prisons due to seeking justice, and heavy sentences including execution have been issued for them.

Indeed, what difference is there between the people of Palestine and Iran that the rulers residing in Iran, instead of supporting their own people, have risen to support the Palestinian people and are willing to fight for them? Rulers who have plundered the wealth and soil of Iran in which they themselves reside and export Iran’s wealth to other countries, but not only do they provide the slightest support to the Iranian people, rather they spray them with bullets with the same heartlessness and take their lives.
