Life of Anti-Regime Satirist Shaker Bouri in Danger

The life of Shaker Bouri, an anti-regime satirist, is in danger.
Shaker Bouri is a satirist and active influencer on Instagram whose satire is entirely directed against the regime.
He performed and shared social problems through satire. In recent weeks, with posts he published, he heavily questioned the regime, which led to his summoning to the Ministry of Intelligence.
Shaker Bouri entered the Abadan Intelligence Office on Wednesday, Mordad 7, in complete physical health. Since that date, despite repeated visits by his family to the Abadan Intelligence Office, they have received no response and his family’s visits have been fruitless.
In response to Shaker Bouri’s family inquiry, the Intelligence Office stated they have no information about him and that his family should report the matter to law enforcement and file a missing person report. According to eyewitness observations, Shaker entered the Intelligence building in complete health and safety, but the Intelligence Organization claims to have no information about him.
It is worth noting that this satirist recently published an image of the history of “anonymous calls” from security agencies to himself, and in one story wrote: “After calls from the brothers above and guidance, I, the wretched sinner, deleted two stories and a post from vital statistics and Elmolahdi, my apologies.”
He also referred to his own summons several times in multiple stories over recent weeks, and in one of his Instagram stories wrote: “Every day a new red line, every day a commitment about something new. How does my satire, which stems from your own sweetness, threaten the country’s security such that you have to summon me every time?”
Unfortunately, after 11 days have passed since Shaker Bouri’s summoning to the Intelligence Office with no information about him or his whereabouts, widespread reactions have emerged from his followers on social media. His social media followers have stated that Shaker Bouri’s life is in danger and called to be his voice.
