Eleven Teachers Summoned to Revolutionary Court in Ahvaz

Eleven teachers in Ahvaz have been summoned to the Revolutionary Court.
According to statements from the Coordination Council of Teachers’ Professional Associations, a group of active teachers from the Khuzestan Teachers’ Professional Association have been summoned to the Revolutionary Court in Ahvaz.
The identities of the aforementioned teachers are Pirooz Nami, Zahra Bakhtiari, Kokab Badaghi-Pegah, Siamak Chehrazyi, Ali Koroshati, Moein Zargan, Shahryar Shirvani, Iqbal Tamiradi, Sadegh Naseri, Behnia Behmeini-Nejad, and Emad Rafiei. They have been summoned to the Revolutionary Court in Ahvaz on charges of “propagandistic activity against the system, assembly and conspiracy with the intent to disrupt domestic security and membership in groups whose objective is to undermine the country’s security.”
The fate of the aforementioned teachers remains unclear, and there is no information about what decision the judiciary will make regarding the charges against these teachers. Charges that have resulted in death sentences and their execution for many rights-seeking citizens.
