Execution of Convicts in the Murder of Law Enforcement Officer Carried Out in Public

The sentence of two prisoners who were convicted of murdering a law enforcement officer was carried out in public this morning.

 This Thursday, corresponding to July 13, 2023 (22 Tir 1402), two prisoners who had been sentenced to death months earlier for the murder of a law enforcement officer were executed in public.

“Mohammad Qaedinasab”, 38, and “Sadegh Mahmoudi Baram”, 25, in November 2021 (Aban 1400) following a mass altercation, committed the murder of a law enforcement officer named “Ehsan Nasiri” with a firearm. The two prisoners were sentenced to death by the First Branch of the Isfahan Revolutionary Court under the presiding of Judge Morteza Barati, and their sentence was issued by the First Criminal Court branch of the province and was upheld by the Supreme Court of the country.

The sentence was carried out in public this morning.
