Protest Call from Today until Freedom Day

People of Isfahan have called for a protest rally from today, Saturday, May 20, until Freedom Day.

Following the execution of Saeed Yaqoubi, Saleh Hashemi, and Majid Kazemmi, defendants in the Isfahan house case, and the widespread reaction that ensued, the people of Isfahan have called for a protest rally from today until Freedom Day, appealing to all people of Iran and those abroad. In this call, the people of Isfahan invited retirees, teachers, workers, farmers, livestock herders, students, pupils, merchants, and housewives to participate in this rally.

In addition to protest gatherings in response to the execution of these defendants that have taken place in various countries, including Perth, Australia, Brussels, Belgium, Iranians residing in London outside the Iranian embassy in that country, Iranians residing in Sweden, Toronto Canada, and over 50 other cities around the world, a call has also been made for Friday, coinciding with the seventh day of the funeral of freedom-seeking victims, with protest gatherings in Barcelona Spain, The Hague Netherlands, Turin and Venice Italy, Hamburg Germany, and other cities in that country, as well as cities in Finland and France.

Hamed Esmailiyon, in support of these calls, also wrote: “We are taking to the streets again to tell the world once more that in our homeland, the mafia rules, and for our people, there is no way out except the overthrow of the dictator.”
