Attack on Israeli Ship by Iranian Drone

A U.S. official reported an attack on an Israeli ship by an Iranian drone.
On Saturday, November 25, corresponding to Azar 4, a U.S. Department of Defense official announced that a cargo ship owned by an Israeli billionaire was attacked by a drone believed to be Iranian in the Indian Ocean. This attack on Israeli ships is the second such incident in recent days, and earlier, a Houthi spokesman had declared that an Israeli ship in the Red Sea had been seized and directed to the port of Hodeidah on Yemen’s coast.
The U.S. Defense Department official, while requesting anonymity, explained that the vessel in question was sailing under the flag of Malta and was likely targeted by an Iranian “Shahed-136” explosive drone, but it remains unclear why the U.S. military has accused Iran of the attack. While noting that America is monitoring the situation, he added: “This attack caused damage to the vessel, but no personnel were injured.”
Also, according to the “Al-Mayadeen” news network, an Israeli cargo ship was targeted in the early hours of Friday morning in the Arabian Sea located in the northern Indian Ocean and caught fire, but regarding this attack, no party has claimed responsibility yet.
The Houthi spokesman, who reported the seizure of a ship in the Red Sea in recent days, emphasized that all Israeli vessels are legitimate targets.
