Execution Sentence of Ten Political Prisoners Confirmed

The execution sentence of ten political prisoners has been confirmed by the judicial authority of the Islamic Republic.
The human rights organization “Hengaw” warned on Saturday, the 16th of Ordibehesht, regarding the execution sentence of six prisoners in “Sheiban Ahvaz” prison. These political prisoners, named Ali Majdum, Mohammad Reza Moghdam, Moein Khonfari, Habib Darris, Adnan Ghobishawy, and Salem Mousavi, have been transferred to solitary confinement cells in Sheiban Ahvaz prison for execution of their sentences.
In addition to the aforementioned six individuals, the execution sentences of Albo Shoukeh, Majid Kazemi, Saleh Mirhashemi, and Mohammad Qobadlu have also been confirmed. It should be noted that Mohammad Qobadlu was charged with “corruption on earth” and “enmity against God” in December 2022, and an execution sentence was issued for him which, in February 2023, following a request for retrial by his lawyer, resulted in a stay of execution order being issued for him.
Now, following public reports, it appears that Mohammad Qobadlu’s execution sentence has been resumed and has been confirmed by the judicial authority of the Islamic Republic.
According to reports from the people of Iran, no prisoner’s execution sentence has ever been annulled by posting a hashtag, and people must only prevent the upcoming executions through their own unity and solidarity so that political prisoners and other prisoners are not further sacrificed to the lack of justice and lies of the Islamic Republic regime.
