Gathering of Social Security Retirees in Front of the Office in Shush and Kerman

Social Security retirees from Shush and Kerman counties gathered in front of this office today, Monday, the 11th of Ordibehesht.

On Monday of last week, dated the 4th of Ordibehesht 1402, retired workers gathered in front of the Social Security office of this county to protest their living conditions. Their protest was directed against the minimum wage resolution, the non-implementation of the remaining equalization adjustments, the non-implementation of articles 96 and 111 of Social Security, and the transfer of the Workers’ Welfare Bank. They demanded the annulment of the wage resolution and attention to their livelihood issues.

After one week had passed and the gathering of these retirees went unheeded, today, Monday, the 11th of Ordibehesht, coinciding with International Workers’ Day, a large number of Social Security retirees again gathered in front of this organization in protest of livelihood issues and the failure to address their demands, and staged protests.

Similarly, Social Security retirees in Kerman city also gathered in front of the Social Security building on this day, which is Workers’ Day, as a sign of protest and to draw attention to the failure to address their demands.
