A massive statue of Jesus Christ named “Christ of Peace” has been unveiled in Mexico.

Statues of Jesus Christ can be found in the most remote corners of the world, and many of their locations are considered sacred religious sites by the Christian community. Erected statues of Jesus Christ around the world enjoy greater fame compared to other monuments.

Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Maratea in Italy, Granada, Florida in the United States, Indonesia, Colombia, Vietnam, Portugal, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Brazil, El Salvador, Mexico, Rome in Italy, Spain, and Poland are countries that have erected statues of Jesus Christ in various locations.

One of the oldest and most unique of these statues was created in the city of Rome, Italy by a renowned Italian artist and sculptor, carved from marble for the Santa Maria Sopra Minerva church. Despite its short height of 2 meters, this statue has become highly famous throughout the world.

Now Mexico, by carving a statue of Jesus Christ to a height of 30 meters, has unveiled it as a grand monument called “Christ of Peace” in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico, coinciding with the Easter holiday. This statue is the tallest statue of Jesus Christ in Mexico.
