The Crime That Left 16-Year-Old “Abulhfoal” Paralyzed

A government force fired at close range on “Abulhfoal,” a 16-year-old boy, leaving him paralyzed.
“Abulhfoal Amiratai,” 16 years old from the city of Rey, became a target of government forces on September 30, 2022, following nationwide protests. Regime forces fired tear gas at Abulhfoal’s head from a distance of just one meter, destroying his life, body, and future.
The left side of Abulhfoal’s skull was completely fractured, and several of his nerve vessels were severed. Abulhfoal is currently paralyzed, with only his eyes able to move. He urgently needs a brain surgeon to be able to move again and return to a normal life. Every day he spends in the hospital brings enormous expenses for his family.
Seeing Abulhfoal’s condition in these circumstances breaks the heart of anyone who witnesses it. A boy full of youthful enthusiasm with a smiling face now lies on a bed with a frail body, with only his eyes capable of movement. With this tragic event that has befallen him, what must be running through his mind now?
The crime that the regime has committed against Abulhfoal and others like him will remain in people’s minds and will never be erased. Abulhfoal is one of the dear ones who suffered serious harm by the regime, but until now this crime had not been exposed. Abulhfoal’s relatives, by sharing his photographs, have exposed this crime and called for help for the 16-year-old Abulhfoal. He could have continued his studies like his peers and become a useful person for his country’s future, but the agents of the Islamic Republic regime took away the future that he and his family had planned.
His family wants the people of Iran not to remain silent and to be the voice of Abulhfoal and other loved ones who became victims of the crimes of the Islamic Republic regime.
