Bakhtiari Tribe Reacts to Abbas Korkori’s Death Sentence

The great Bakhtiari tribe responded strongly to the death sentence of “Abbas Korkori,” known as “Mujahid.”

Abbas Korkori, known as Mujahid, who was accused of the killing of Kian Pirfalak in Izeh and the wounding of several others during the November 16, 2022 attack, was sentenced to death by the judiciary. It should be noted that this sentence is not yet final and is subject to appeal in the Supreme Court of the country.

The great Bakhtiari tribe responded strongly to the issuance of this sentence and issued a statement addressing the Islamic Republic regime.

The Bakhtiari Coordination Council, by publishing this statement, warned about the issuance of a death sentence for Mujahid Korkori and announced: “The killing of Kian Pirfalak by Mujahid is nothing but a baseless accusation. The execution of Mujahid Korkori is our red line, take this warning seriously.

The killer of Kian Pirfalak, according to hundreds of documents, evidence, and witnesses, is the bloodthirsty regime of Wilayat al-Faqih. If you execute Mujahid Korkori, the honorable son of the Bakhtiari people, you will reap the whirlwind.” The Bakhtiari tribe is now on high alert.

The judiciary issued a death sentence for Abbas (Mujahid) Korkori at a time when the Pirfalak family had previously announced that no citizens of Izeh had any role in Kian’s killing, but rather the forces of the Islamic Republic regime fired on their vehicle.

Will the Islamic Republic regime respond to the warning of the Bakhtiari tribe and overturn the death sentence in the Supreme Court?
