Sale and Plunder of Charitable Schools by Government Under the Guise of Monetization

The Islamic Republic government is selling charitable schools under the pretext of monetization.
The plundering of national capital and the sale of Iran’s wealth, which intensified after the government’s budget deficit, has now led the Islamic Republic regime to sell schools that were built by philanthropists.
One education expert stated: “Reports indicate that some schools and education properties with commercial value that are marketable and have significant buyers are being declared surplus.”
Zahra Gitinezad, CEO of the Mehrgiti Institute, whose primary activities focus on school construction, released a video announcing a large number of charitable schools that have been listed for sale under the government’s property monetization program, which raises questions and concerns.
She stated: “Philanthropists dedicate their time and resources in hopes of advancing the country, endowing them for the children of this land. They are not responsible for compensating for the government’s budget shortage. Philanthropists build 70 percent of schools, and then they encounter a list of their schools for sale, which destroys their trust.”
The Mehrgiti Institute also published a tweet stating that the sale of these properties without the consent and permission of philanthropists is not justified from religious, moral, and legal perspectives.

According to statistics, between 10 to 15 billion is spent annually by philanthropists for school construction, and legally no organization or government can proceed with the sale of charitable properties; however, the Islamic Republic government shows no mercy to anything or anyone and wants to carry out everything within its power before its collapse, in order to plunder more wealth and property from Iran and its people.
Suppression, detention, murder, execution, sale of national capitals, plundering of national assets and gold was not enough, and now they have proceeded to sell billion-dollar properties of the people that were built to serve Iran’s children. In no historical period has such crime, embezzlement, lies, killing, plundering, child murder, corruption, and debauchery occurred in a country the way it has occurred in Iran.
