You Took My Sight, But It Opened Many Eyes

Aleheh Tokalian, a girl from Khorasan, addressing the person who shot her and damaged her eye, said: “You took my sight, but it opened many eyes.”
Aleheh Tokalian shared a video of herself on social media yesterday for the first time, showing what a painful day she spent in the hospital. A video that had been archived due to her psychological condition until today. She asked: Who is it that, from the intensity of eye pain, would plead to have the arrow of their eye removed along with lost beauties?
Another video was also published by a compatriot on Instagram in which he wrote: “Aleheh Tokalian was shot in Esfarain. I was exactly behind her. We did nothing but chant slogans. We were around the central square of the city (Imam Khomeini Square). On one side of the square, a young man tore down a Khamenei banner, and they shot him with buckshot right there. (The person who has the weapon in the video is Amin Gholi Zadeh.)
We were on the other side of the square chanting when a police officer came and said if you tear down the banners, you’ve had it coming, we said we are just chanting. A few minutes later Amin Gholi Zadeh came and stood in front of us and without any reason pointed the weapon at us and fired. My eye was only not damaged because Aleheh was standing in front of me. Now Amin Gholi Zadeh roams the streets very freely.
Now there are only two people left in my mind that I will go after on the day of freedom. One is Amin Gholi Zadeh and the other is Hossein Negahban, the head of the Saderat Bank in Esfarain. Hossein Negahban was also there that night as a plainclothes officer and had grabbed a 16 or 17-year-old teenager to take with him. I and a few others went and attacked him, he dropped the boy on the ground and fled. When he turned his face towards us as he fled, I recognized his face.”
Aleheh also released a message and addressing the person who struck her and took her eyes, said: “On the 22nd of Bahman I will go for my eye prosthetics, you go get your medal too.”
