Police Patrol Vehicle in Bampour County Comes Under Gunfire

Yesterday, the 4th of Bahman, a patrol vehicle of the central police station in Bampour County came under gunfire.

Sistan and Baluchestan, four months after the nationwide protests, remains under siege by government forces. Baluchestan, where people continue their protests with greater unity every day and every week following Friday prayers in the streets. A county where more than other cities the blood of its children and youth has been spilled by suppressive forces and many lives have been taken in media silence.

The people of Baluchestan had previously declared that if the Islamic Republic government does not stop the crackdowns, the people of Baluchestan will arm themselves and treat you as you treat us.

Images published today on social media pages indicate that two police officers were killed and one of them was wounded.

Yesterday, the 4th of Bahman 1401, the patrol vehicle of the central police station in Bampour County came under gunfire. In this shooting, 2 people were killed and 1 person was wounded. Colonel “Mokhtar Momeni” and Third Lieutenant “Abouzar Omidvar” were killed in this shooting and First Warrant Officer “Milad Abdollahi” was also wounded.

Commander Mohammad Ghanbari referred to those involved in this shooting as “evildoers unaware of God” and stated that after identifying and apprehending these evildoers, they will be sentenced to the severest punishment.

The suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic government, including military forces, the Basij, and plainclothes forces who unjustly and falsely arrest Iranian youth and charge them with sedition and issue death sentences for them, are not “evildoers unaware of God,” but those same people whose families and cities have lost young people and children to gunfire, who defend themselves to protect their land and honor, are labeled as “evildoers unaware of God.”

This is the government of “Alavi justice” that the Islamic Republic speaks of, a government that bears no scent of justice and to maintain its rule, has stained its hands with the blood of its people and plundered their lives, wealth, and the land of Iran.
