European Parliament Approves Vote to Place IRGC on Terrorist List

The European Parliament placed the IRGC organization on the terrorist list with 598 votes in favor out of a total of 638 votes cast.
As a result of the European Parliament session to decide on placing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the terrorist list, out of a total of 638 votes, 598 representatives voted in favor, 9 representatives voted against, and 31 representatives abstained. This voting outcome resulted in the placement of the IRGC organization on the terrorist list.

Following the announcement of the voting results, the people of Iran held massive celebrations in the streets. In particular, the people of Saqez, the city of Jina (Mahsa Amini), held these celebrations with even greater enthusiasm last night. People who unite in the streets at times to seek justice and protest, also celebrate together at times. It seems these people have known how to make revolutions for years.
In Mahabad as well, people took to the streets and expressed their joy at the placement of the IRGC on the terrorist list through Kurdish dancing and celebrations.
In many other cities, people also demonstrated their happiness about this event. Never during these 43 years of captivity under the Islamic Republic regime have people been as happy as they were celebrating the placement of the IRGC organization on the terrorist list. The IRGC security forces, which are supposedly meant to protect the people’s security, have today been recognized as terrorists throughout the entire world.
The people’s revolution is moving closer to its fateful days. The people of Iran are moving forward shoulder to shoulder on this path with both small and large steps, and have not tired in reaching their goal and achieving victory, but continue onward.
