Prince Reza Pahlavi’s Message on the Fortieth Day Commemoration of Freedom’s Martyrs

Prince Reza Pahlavi posted a message on his Twitter account on the occasion of the fortieth day commemoration of those who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom of the nation.

Today marks the fortieth day since the deaths of Kian Pirfalak, Hamidreza Rouhi, Aylar Haqqi, and Sepehr Maghsoudi. Children and youth who were brutally killed by government forces.

Prince Reza Pahlavi posted a message on his Twitter account on this occasion to express solidarity with the bereaved families. The message read: “Today is the fortieth day of the eternal memory of Kian Pirfalak, Aylar Haqqi, Hamidreza Rouhi, Sepehr Maghsoudi, and many other martyrs of Iran’s national revolution. Intelligent, courageous children and youth full of life’s vigor who were killed by the Revolutionary Guards of Zahhak. We will not leave grieving families alone. We are a great nation; we will reclaim Iran.”

Kian Pirfalak’s family also invited all people to participate in the ceremony marking the fortieth day of their son’s death. The people have announced that Kian is the son of all of us and that they will participate in this ceremony with even greater passion in pursuit of justice.

The unity and solidarity of the Iranian people is exemplary. A unity that the Islamic Republic regime could not break apart despite all its crimes and oppression; rather, it has caused people to become even more united and harmonious with one another.
