Clémentine Autain Calls Execution of Mohammad Mehdi Karami a Disgrace

Clémentine Autain, a member of the French Parliament, has expressed her concern over the execution of Mohammad Mehdi Karami and called it a disgrace.
Clémentine Autain, a French parliamentary representative who had taken political guardianship of Mohammad Mehdi Karami, wrote on her Twitter page last night: “According to information I have received, they intend to execute my ward Mohammad Mehdi Karami on Tuesday, December 29th. This is an absolute shame. France must immediately stop the execution of Iranian opposition figures using every tool at its disposal.”

Mohammad Mehdi Karami was sentenced to death during the protests on charges of “corruption on earth” and involvement in the killing of a Basij member.
When the Islamic Republic regime proceeds with executing the sentence despite the fact that representatives from parliaments in various countries have taken political guardianship of individuals sentenced to death, it means that the lives of the remaining individuals who have been sentenced to death remain in danger.
Will countries whose representatives have taken political guardianship of some of those sentenced to death take any action to prevent this apparent crime?
