Reasons for the Decline in the Value of the Rial and the Rise in the Value of the Dollar from the People’s Perspective

For several days now, the value of the dollar has been increasing and the value of the Iranian rial has been declining. From the perspective of the people, 20 percent of Iran’s entire economy has been spent over two months on combating popular protests.

What is the reason for the 20 percent increase in the dollar’s price in the past 5 days? In fact, this is not an increase in the dollar’s price, but rather a 20 percent decrease in the value of Iran’s currency. That means 20 percent of Iran’s entire economy has been deducted, the reason being the large volume of unsupported money that has been printed. This money is being given to the government’s mercenaries for suppressing the Iranian people, ranging from 300,000 tomans per hour to 2 million tomans per hour. Furthermore, we are witnessing daily increases in foreign forces in Iran who have been sent from Arab countries to suppress the people, which naturally entails costs. Recently, we saw a payment of 145 million tomans to one of the suppressive forces. When such large amounts are paid to these individuals who are Iranian, certainly several times more is being spent for foreign forces.

In reality, one-fifth of Iran’s entire economy has been spent on suppressions in these 60 days. Suppose these 60 days turn into 10 months, they would naturally have to use 100 percent of the entire economy for this purpose, which naturally means they themselves would be destroyed as well. If we can continue the protests like in 1357 when people worked for a year for the revolution, the country’s leaders will certainly be left without money and will leave Iran. Although up to today, many of their families have left Iran and have gone into hiding in several countries, including Austria.

Therefore, we the people of Iran, even at the cost of worsening economic conditions, will stand firm until Iran is cleansed of these mercenaries.
