Statements by Khosrow Karami, Son of Sergeant Kourosh Karami

Khosrow Karami is an MBA student at Amir Kabir University of Technology and the son of Sergeant Kourosh Karami. He courageously reveals his identity without covering his face and with valor, saying: I film myself without a mask so you don’t think there is fear in my heart. We are not afraid, because we have nothing to lose.

He is not even afraid of arrest and death, speaking so frankly to the Islamic Republic regime in this manner.

Khosrow Karami speaks of the suffering of people whose lives have reached their end and of a corrupt system that kills the people. He says: What should we fear? Not having a Mercedes and a house or not having a future? Empty bank accounts? Which one would you like to confiscate? What have you left us with so that we fear losing it?

He said to the Islamic Republic government: Kill us and release us. Was it not peaceful when the martyr understood and stood against thieves, perpetrators, murderers and tanks of liars and oppressors? Was it done through dialogue? Was it peaceful when Abbas Duran disrupted their plans?

You have driven us into black earth, so what should we fear now? Where are those companions of the world-builder so they can see the bloody city has fallen into the hands of embezzlers, liars and murderers. Were the 8 years of sacred defense war for this?

Kill us, and then the soil becomes a garden of courage and our understanding grows more. Why do you threaten us? You have taken everything from us, take our lives too.

Khosrow Karami told the Iranian people: Do not wait for foreign government officials, do not think their hearts ache for the Iranian people. Do not suppose that human rights are human rights for me and you; human rights are only for the blue-eyed. They receive their bribes. If they were truthful, they would not allow embezzlers and thieves into their country. If they are truthful, they would not give green cards to these murderers.

What if we live? To see poverty, misery, inflation, hardship, economic collapse and deprivation again? We grew old in our youth; you took everything from us. You even took hope, future and comfort from us.

Oh people, do not stay in your homes; the home is destroyed and slippery. What are you afraid of? Do not suppose that all these military forces are murderers and oppressors.

Khosrow Karami also addressed government forces, saying: My words are to you military and law enforcement forces. I know! I am the son of personnel and I know. Look at me, see your son’s future. There is no marriage, no house, no future and nothing else.

Oh soldiers, do not fear these murderers. They send you to the battlefield but they themselves have green cards to foreign countries. Your sons, like me, live in poverty and misery, but their sons live in European countries in luxury and comfort. Do not support these murderers; they live for themselves in luxury and comfort but you and your children are paying the price.

Khosrow Karami also challenged the military forces and his father’s colleagues in part of his speech, saying: I have given you all my information, find me and kill me. Tell my father his son was killed by your colleague and uniform mate. Tell my mother her son was killed by your fellow traveler husband. Tell the university professor your student was killed by your silence. Tell my classmates, tell my elementary school friends that I was killed, so you don’t get tired but continue instead. Tell the army your soldier was killed, because the army commander was a coward. I am a soldier of the late Doran’s regiment, Martyr Khezraee. The spirit of Doran has been breathed into me. Kill me, why do you threaten me?

Tell the police, tell the Revolutionary Guards, tell yourselves who gather together and talk, we killed a child of personnel who is like our own son. When you go home to your families, tell them we killed someone like your own son. Tell your children I killed someone like you today.

Why should we live? So our sisters are killed in government morality police vans, or so children are murdered in schools? Or so students are killed in university courtyards?

Did you think when Martyr Chamran was killed, it was over? All the students of the university are Martyr Chamran. Did you think if you kill us, we end? No! We multiply instead.

Khosrow Karami recited a text about the pain, suffering and events of today’s Iran, like poetry with the following content:

Iran is destroyed, mother’s eyes await her child

Prison has become the student’s home, the oil well was plundered

The heart of the worshiper became the target of bullets

Embezzlement became normal and concerts were cancelled

Urmia dried up, the airplane became a moving coffin

The future became nothing and youth became void

Bank accounts became the source of shame for breadwinners

The house became a hut of sorrows and the street became the scene of killing freedom fighters

School became a place of killing children, university became a torture chamber for the talented

Woman, life, freedom became

Man, homeland, prosperity became

A people awoke

He also told fathers and mothers: Do not hold back your children, do not threaten them. Do not say let others go but you stay. Do not keep your children imprisoned. If we do not stand together for our rights, we will be buried side by side in graves.

Create that moment when on radio and television, on social networks we hear: Attention! Attention! The people of Iran, the bloody land of Iran has been liberated. Once again let us hear that the bloody city, Khorramshahr is liberated. Unite and stand beside each other.

We have nothing to lose, do not be afraid!

And finally, the Islamic Republic thinks that by arresting people and using violence against them, it can force the nation into silence; but every day people like Khosrow Karami will emerge and their numbers will grow.
