The State of Iran’s Schools After the Democratic Revolution

What will Iran’s schools be like after the democratic revolution?

In recent months, a video was circulated on social media platforms discussing what Iran would be like after a popular revolution. Now, given the incidents that have occurred in schools by government agents, social media users have shared a video discussing the state of schools and how lessons will be conducted after the democratic revolution.

Currently, the lessons taught to girls and boys in schools are mostly fabricated by the regime’s ideology, through which they seek to impose their own beliefs—beliefs they themselves do not hold and are not committed to—on students’ minds.

But what will schools and lessons be like after the democratic revolution? The changes that will occur in schools and curricula, or more accurately, the changes that people desire to see implemented according to modern global educational systems, are outlined in this video.

“An educational system that requires true specialists and experienced professionals will undoubtedly be implemented after the revolution in a national government. These changes will be as follows:

1_ Lessons such as religious studies, Quran, and ideological courses will be completely eliminated, and teachings such as Arabic will be transformed from mandatory to elective courses and placed within language curricula. Books such as history, which are full of lies, will present historical truths without bias, so that society can develop a true understanding of what has happened to our land and the world.

Book images will be modified to better attract content. Vocabulary will be revised, and innovation will be created in Persian language to enter the digital world in the current era, and measures will be taken to publish valuable books for creating a new and developed Iran.

2_ A complete transformation of the educational system from a model that not only creates no future for students but also destroys their future. A system whose goal is to create brainwashing and recruit forces for the government. The resources spent on these officials to destroy the country and students’ futures will instead be allocated to specialists in research, art, sports, environmental, public culture-building, recovery of national and ethnic identity, and other fields, resulting in a bright future first for the students themselves and then for the country.

3_ A change in the system’s intellectual model from goal-setting to goal-finding. Instead of imposing one thought on others, talent identification will be conducted, and students will be nurtured according to their interests and abilities.

4_ The end of gender-based segregation, which will end the creation of differences and discrimination in society.

5. Specialized focus. With entering a new world, the education system will also be new, and specialization will begin at younger ages.

6. According to modern educational science, it can be easily predicted that our major specialists in education will reach three-dimensional language education. First dimension: mother tongue, second dimension: professional English language education from first grade and preschool, third dimension: teaching the language and culture of other Iranian ethnicities such as Kurdish language and culture in different cities and vice versa.

7. Elimination of home assignments. Whatever a student is supposed to learn must happen at school, and after school hours, a student should focus on family life and personal and group recreation.

These were only some of the changes the educational system in schools will undergo.”

All of this will be done by the Iranian people themselves and dedicated specialists. Those who, based on their expertise, profession, and sufficient knowledge, will be placed in their rightful positions.

A more complete video of these explanations can be seen below.

If all the people of Iran, especially the silent majority who live in silence, simply think about this change in their children’s educational system, they will emerge from silence and join other people to overthrow the regime and create a bright future for themselves and their children.
