Chain Poisoning Continues in Borujerd Schools

In the first week of Esfand, chain poisoning entered schools in the city of Borujerd and continues to persist.
On the second day of Esfand, poisoning struck Ahmadiyeh High School in Borujerd, and the girls at this school experienced poisoning again on the third and sixth days of Esfand. Yesterday, Sunday, the 7th of Esfand, this poisoning affected the “15 Khordad” girls’ high school and “Fareshegan” girls’ elementary school.
Students at “15 Khordad” High School, after inhaling an unknown substance, were taken to Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Borujerd hospitals. In total, 260 students have been poisoned, with some still in critical condition and others discharged. After two consecutive days of Saturday and Sunday, during which students at Ahmadiyeh and 15 Khordad schools were poisoned and transferred to hospitals, the response from officials also changed.
Officials from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Intelligence Ministry, and other government officials attributed the cause of these poisonings to requiring further investigation and postponed announcing the causes. However, following these incidents, some parliamentary representatives and the Parliament’s Research Deputy announced that these poisonings were intentional and specifically targeting girls’ schools.
This is not the end of the story. According to an exclusive report to “Hamehan” news, this chain or serial poisoning has now reached an elementary girls’ school.
“Fareshegan” Elementary School, located in district one of Borujerd, also witnessed the poisoning of primary grade students. According to reports from parents of the affected students, approximately 60 ten-year-old students were taken to the hospital due to poisoning.
The father of a fourth-grade student told “Hamehan”: “During the last recess hour, students were in the school courtyard when one student became dizzy and fell to the ground. After that, a smell similar to rotten oranges spread throughout the school, which everyone could detect. The principal and supervisor, who noticed the odor, directed students to their classrooms, but the smell was felt more intensely in the classes, so the students were taken back to the school courtyard.”
Also, a fourth-grade student reported that after going to the courtyard, many students experienced severe vomiting. The condition of the elementary students was so severe that they could not stand, and until the ambulance arrived, students were laid on mats spread in the school courtyard.
One emergency physician announced that this poisoning was not caused by inhaling carbon monoxide gas but rather resulted from inhaling another toxic gas, the cause of which will be determined after conducting tests.
Parents of students remain concerned about their children and criticized the fact that the school remained open today (Monday). They stated that our children eat food and meals on benches in this school, and their presence at the school may be dangerous.
This serial poisoning, which began in several schools in Qom and Tehran and has now reached Borujerd, has raised the concerns of parents. The poisoning in which students reported the entry of an object resembling a small bomb into the school courtyard, after which a smell of mint and rotten oranges was inhaled, followed immediately by severe poisoning symptoms including dizziness, heart palpitations, chest pain, vomiting, and even partial paralysis of the body.
According to an informed source, currently two schools, Ahmadiyeh and 15 Khordad, are closed, and no decision has yet been made regarding other schools.
It appears that government officials intend to prevent girls’ education by repeatedly poisoning female students in different cities. An act that the Taliban has done to Afghan girls in Afghanistan. Additionally, through these serial poisonings, they aim to prevent girls from participating in nationwide protests and suppress the revolutionary uprising started by young people by confusing public opinion.
The regime and government of Ali, in their desire for survival, do not hesitate to take anyone’s life, even children, and are engaged in killing, poisoning, and even paralyzing them.
According to people present at the scene, it is possible that the transfer of these poisonings to schools in other cities continues through fire brigades under government control.
