40th Day of Mahsa Amini’s Death and Prince Reza Pahlavi’s Message

Today marks the fortieth day of Mahsa Amini’s death. A video has been circulated on social media showing the uprising of a great multitude against the dictatorship of Wilayat al-Faqih. A long line of people walking on foot toward the tomb of the martyr in the path of righteousness – Mahsa Amini – is moving forward.

The honorable people of Iran addressed the government of the Islamic Republic, stating: We know that upon seeing our images, trembling has seized your palace; but we with our flesh, skin, and bones will bring that palace down. Undoubtedly, that time is not far away.

Prince Reza Pahlavi also announced regarding today, the fortieth day of Mahsa Amini: Today, Wednesday the fourth of Aban, is the fortieth day of Iran’s national revolution. The fortieth day of the cruel killing of a young girl who was killed as a stranger in her own homeland, and whose name is now the code of our revolution. Zhina Amini, daughter of Iran. Prince Reza Pahlavi continued: The fourth of Aban also has another meaning for me. The birthday of my father, who after much suffering was buried in foreign soil with deep sorrow. Sleeping in foreign soil after that fateful month of Bahman became the unwanted fate of many Iranians in exile.

We are all waiting for the day of victory and liberation from the chains of oppression and tyranny of religious dictatorship. The day when Iranian women and girls can live with security and freedom and are not strangers in their own country, and no Iranian exile is buried in foreign soil. With steadfastness and solidarity, with the continuation and expansion of protests and strikes, that day is near. Nearer than the enemies of the people imagine.
