Beneil Dariush, Iranian-American Professional Fighter

Beneil Dariush is a professional mixed martial artist of Iranian-American descent. He was born on May 6, 1989 in Urmia. With a height of 1.78 meters and weighing 71 kilograms, Beneil competes in the UFC lightweight division. Dariush’s lineage traces back to the Assyrians of Iran.

He began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2007 and after five years of activity and earning blue, purple, and brown belts, he became a world champion in this discipline and also achieved his black belt.

He had his first official UFC fight in January 2014, winning against Jason, and by February 2018, he had competed 19 times, achieving 14 victories and ranking third in the world lightweight division.

Daniel has won many fights, but in his recent victory, he requested one minute to speak to the Iranian people. In this interview, he said: I want to dedicate this victory to the Iranian people. Beneil continued: I know you are fighting, I know you are fighting for freedom; I know you have a difficult struggle ahead, but I want to say that we pray for you and love you.

He then made a very important point, saying: Allow me to say something else that is most important. There is a true freedom that no one can take from you, and that freedom comes when you find Jesus Christ the Lord and have faith in Him. Never forget this; this is a very important matter.

In the future, we will witness Beneil’s further victories and Iran’s victory against the Islamic Republic regime and complete freedom in Iran.
