Arrest of a Citizen for Performing Street Music in Rasht

Hrana News Agency – A 60-year-old citizen was arrested by law enforcement officers for performing street music in Rasht. His musical instruments have also been confiscated.

According to Hrana News Agency, citing RENA, law enforcement officers arrested a citizen for performing street music on Allameh Alamolhoda pedestrian street in Rasht.

The musical instruments of this 60-year-old man were also confiscated by the officers.

The report stated, “Performing street music requires obtaining legal permission from the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the Municipality.”
