Kerman: Man arrested for murder of ex-wife and her family

The police commander of Kermanshah province announced the arrest of a man who had committed the murder of his ex-wife, her mother, and her sister.
According to Hrana news agency, citing ISNA, a man accused of killing his ex-wife, her mother, and her sister has been arrested in Kermanshah.
Ali Akbar Javidan stated: Following a family mass murder in the Pardis neighborhood of Kermanshah and reporting the incident to police, teams of officers quickly arrived at the scene.
He continued: Initial police investigations revealed that the suspect was a former son-in-law of the family and nephew of one of the victims, who had separated from his wife, who was a daughter of this family, approximately five years ago.
The Kermanshah police commander emphasized: Police investigations showed that the suspect entered the house as a guest and, using an excuse, stayed overnight in the victims’ home to sleep.
Javidan recalled: The former son-in-law of the family, in the middle of the night, using a Colt pistol he was carrying, fired at his 31-year-old ex-wife, his 55-year-old mother-in-law who was also his aunt, and his 35-year-old sister-in-law, killing all three.
He added: Another tragic aspect of this painful incident was the presence of a six-year-old boy, the common child of the killer and the victim, in the house at the time of the crime, who, after the shots were fired and his father fled, was confronted with the bodies of his mother, grandmother, and aunt covered in blood.
He continued: Upon completion of the investigation, police were able to arrest the suspect.
He noted: The arrested suspect confessed from the beginning to the murder of his ex-wife, her mother, and her sister, and in initial interrogations attributed his motivation for this act to the hatred and resentment he harbored against them.
