Sistan and Baluchestan: Lack of Medical Facilities and Ambulance Led to Death of a Child

On Tuesday, the 22nd of Tir, the absence of medical facilities and lack of an ambulance at the Ali Abad medical center in Sarbaaz city resulted in the death of a child. The family’s attempt to transfer their child by private vehicle to Rask Hospital was unsuccessful due to the oxygen cylinder running out midway and the child’s condition deteriorating.

According to a report by Hrana news agency, citing a campaign by Baloch activists, on Tuesday evening, the 22nd of Tir 1400, a child who had been transferred by private vehicle to Rask Hospital due to the absence of an ambulance and medical facilities at Ali Abad medical center, lost his life.

The identity of the child, who had been transferred to Ali Abad medical center following drowning in the Sarbaaz river, was identified as Anfal Gohramzaei, son of Mohsen, a resident of Jamider village in Sarbaaz city.

According to the report, medical personnel had installed one oxygen cylinder in the private vehicle, but the cylinder running out before reaching the hospital caused the patient’s condition to deteriorate.
