Based on this report, police officers in West Tehran became aware of the death of a man named Hamed, an Afghan national, at a hospital located in Yaftabad, and launched their investigation. Criminal investigations revealed that Hamed was stabbed at his home and was taken to the hospital by neighbors. He died hours later despite the efforts of medical staff due to the severity of his injuries.

A police team, along with the on-duty prosecutor, after visiting the scene of the incident and questioning the deceased’s family, discovered that Hamed had been stabbed by his cousin over honor-related matters.

Ultimately, the suspect was arrested in South Tehran and transferred to the police station for further investigation.

The suspect confessed to killing his cousin during the criminal investigation and said: “Hamed had been harassing my sister on the street for a long time. I warned him, but Hamed didn’t stop harassing her. A few days later, I told Hamed to propose marriage to my sister, but he mocked me and insulted my honor. At one moment I got angry and killed him with a knife. I regret it and did not intend to kill Hamed.”
