Washington Post: 30,000 lies by Donald Trump during four years in office

The number of lies and false information in Donald Trump’s statements during his presidency has been reported at 30,573 cases. Lies and false news that not only damaged America and its policy in the world, but also harmed his own credibility.
Donald Trump showed from the very first day of his administration that he had a particular approach to facts and figures.
The Washington Post, by publishing a report, announced that the number of lies and false information that Trump expressed during his four years as president, either verbally or in writing, was 30,573 cases.
Spiegel Online also wrote in covering this news that Trump “uttered one lie after another during this period.” From the unprecedented and historic turnout at his inauguration ceremony (the first official day of his work) to claims of electoral fraud on the last day of his presidency as president of the United States.
The Washington Post newspaper launched a section called “Fact Checker” ten years ago to verify statements and remarks of politicians. This newspaper has publicized the number of false and incorrect news brought forth by Trump.
According to the newspaper’s report, Trump in his first year in office “on average delivered six lies or false information to the media and people every day.”
According to the Washington Post, the number of Trump’s lies increased day by day, so that in the first 27 months of his administration he delivered 10,000 lies and false information. However, the number of lies and false news in his statements increased sharply in the final months of his administration. In the last five months of his administration, the number of lies and false news in his statements reached 10,000 cases.
The Washington Post’s “Fact Checker” section announced that Trump expressed 2,500 lies and false information in connection with the spread of coronavirus.
The former U.S. president abstained from expressing false information only during six days when he was hospitalized due to COVID-19. However, after recovery, he continued to spread false news. It is said that on some days the number of lies and false information he uttered exceeded 150 cases.
