Arrest of suspect in child abuse case in Nishapur
The head of the Nishapur Welfare Department announced the arrest of an individual who committed child abuse and published a video of it on social media in this city.
According to Harana news agency, citing Fars, a video was recently circulated on social networks showing a person in a parking lot abusing a child by placing a heavy rubber object on the child.
The head of the Nishapur Welfare Department, following the circulation of the video, said: “The child abuser was arrested by the Fata Police and is under interrogation.”
Ali Sadr stated: “Social emergency and welfare workers have also been sent to the residence of the abused child.”
He noted that the suspect and the family of the abused child will appear before the prosecutor tomorrow, and added: “Additional information will be announced soon.”
