These two civil activists, along with Giti Poorfazel and Zahra Jamali, who are currently serving their sentences in Evin Prison, were ultimately tried by the Tehran Revolutionary Court and each were sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment on charges of conspiracy, collusion, and propaganda against the system. The sentences were reduced to 44 months for each of these citizens due to factors including motherhood and absence of a criminal record.
