Three Days After Deaths of Three Nature Activists in Fire, Paveh Forests Continue to Burn

Reports indicate that the fire in the oak forests of Paveh county in Kermanshah province continues after six days and the deaths of three environmental activists.

Faridon Yavari, director general of the Environment Organization of Kermanshah province, said on Tuesday, July 1st, that the fire in the “Bozin” and “Markhil” areas continues after six days, and so far 1,400 hectares of land in this region have been burned.
