Suicide of 15-Year-Old Boy from Helilan

A 15-year-old boy in Goldareh village of Helilan County, one of the severely deprived areas of Ilam Province, took his own life. The share of Iranian adolescents in annual suicides has been reported by the Legal Medicine Organization at over 7 percent.

According to Hrana news agency, citing Tabnak Ilam, on Saturday, the 15th of Shahrivareh, a 15-year-old boy from Goldareh village in Helilan, Ilam Province, committed suicide and lost his life.

According to this report, “Morteza” took this action due to nervous problems.

This is the second suicide case of children in this severely deprived village over the past six months. Previously, 13-year-old Zeinab, a girl from Goldareh village of Helilan, had also committed suicide and lost her life.
