Unemployment Exceeds 30 Percent Among University Graduates in Iran

The commander of the armed forces’ general staff skills training headquarters said: We face an enormous national mega-challenge in the country called unemployment, which from our military perspective is considered a national security threat. According to official statistics from the Ministry of Labor, we have 3.8 million unemployed people, with 38 percent of university graduates being unemployed.

He also added: More than half of the country’s soldiers also have university education.
