Over 150,000 Cases of Women Seeking Forensic Medical Examination Following Disputes Recorded

According to statistics provided by the country’s Forensic Medicine Organization, in the first nine months of the current year, 463,117 cases of referrals to forensic medicine due to disputes have been registered. Of this figure, 312,546 cases, equivalent to approximately 68 percent of referrals, were related to men, and 150,571 cases, equivalent to approximately 32 percent, were related to women.

Accordingly, the statistics show that Tehran province with 78,298 cases, Razavi Khorasan with 40,523 cases, and Isfahan with 33,484 cases ranked first among those seeking forensic medical examinations due to disputes during the mentioned period.
