Mnuchin: If Tehran Accepts Necessary Conditions, Washington Will End All Sanctions

The US Treasury Secretary says that if Tehran implements the necessary conditions, the United States will end all of its sanctions against Iran.

According to Reuters news agency, Steven Mnuchin made this statement on Saturday, December 14th, during an international meeting in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

The CNBC network also reported in this regard, quoting him on Iran sanctions, stating that the aim of imposing these sanctions is to prevent a potential war.

Mr. Mnuchin further added that the reason we use sanctions is that they are the most important alternative to military conflicts in the world.

The Treasury Secretary of President Trump’s administration emphasized that sanctions have been effective in achieving this goal.
