Noshin Jafari, Photographer and Cultural Reporter, ‘Arrested’

Some social media users reported on Wednesday that Noshin Jafari, a reporter and photographer, has been arrested.

Friends of Noshin Jafari have stated that she was arrested four days ago.

However, the reason for her arrest and the charges against Ms. Jafari have not been disclosed, and judicial authorities have not yet commented on the matter.

Noshin Jafari, who began her journalism career covering culture and art since 2008, was also arrested once in February 2010.

In recent years, Ms. Jafari’s main area of activity has been artistic photography and film and theater photography.
