This comes as the release of the video of this woman singing on social media was met with approval from users, who described the event as “one of Iran’s beauties.”
Women’s singing is prohibited in Iran; however, in recent years, numerous videos of women’s private rehearsals and performances have been shared on social media.
The Isfahan prosecutor had recently declared women’s cycling in public spaces as “forbidden” and prohibited, which faced considerable criticism.
