Messages from the Pahlavi Family on the Occasion of the Approaching Nowruz
Reza Pahlavi, in a message on the occasion of the approaching Nowruz, says “In these glorious moments when we sit beside the Haft-Sin table and celebrate the birthday of the universe at the beginning of the new year, let us all think of Iran together.”
Prince Reza Pahlavi added “Let us, inspired by nature’s transformation, hand in hand, sweep away the dust of sorrow and despair from our Iran.”
The late shah of Iran’s son wrote in another post on his Twitter account “Our Iran, by the capable hands of its aware and mighty children, will once again become a free and prosperous land, with people living in comfort and well-being, and oppression and destruction will depart from it.”
Shahbanu Farah Pahlavi also, on the eve of Nowruz’s arrival, said in a message “Nowruz heralds a new day, a new spring, and a new year. I extend my congratulations on this day to all Iranians. I know what hardships and injustices befall those who are in Iran, but I am confident that our dear countrymen, through their efforts, will celebrate the Nowruz of freedom in the near future.”
