Bolton: Maximum Pressure on Iran and its Terrorist Arm IRGC Continues

John Bolton, White House National Security Advisor, tweeted a message welcoming news of sanctions against a Lebanese citizen accused of money laundering for Hezbollah, stating: “The U.S. Treasury and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration exposed another narco-terrorism money laundering network working for Hezbollah.”

The White House National Security Advisor added: “We will continue to impose maximum economic pressure on Iran, its terrorist arm, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and its proxies and criminal affiliates around the world.”

The U.S. Department of Treasury announced it has sanctioned “Qassem Shams,” a Lebanese citizen, on charges of “money laundering” for drug smugglers and the Lebanese Hezbollah group.
