Zayandeh Rud Returns to Life

Zayandeh Rud has returned to life after 18 months of critical drought, a river that from the Zagros Mountains to Gavkhuni Wetland gives a special identity to the entire region. On Monday morning, the 8th of Bahman, the gates of Zayandeh Rud Dam were opened to allow water to flow along its course, and now after one day, the historic city of Isfahan celebrates the return of Zayandeh Rud.
