Unwise Reaction of Iran’s Leader and Parliamentary Representatives to Trump’s Withdrawal from JCPOA

According to FCN News Agency; Following the announcement of the United States’ withdrawal from the JCPOA, Iran’s leader and parliamentary representatives have displayed reactions that are utterly unwise and far removed from political and international wisdom, both of which warrant deep reflection and consideration.
Initially, during his speech, Iran’s leader displayed his anger and not only resorted to disrespectful language devoid of international dignity by engaging in public verbal insult, but also claimed to be speaking on behalf of the Iranian people. This matter has been met with protests from many segments of Iranian society, particularly intellectuals and university professors, who have declared that they will not accept any insulting response and will not support it.
Subsequently, the even more strange and insolent reaction of parliamentary representatives has shocked many. Since they serve as the authority for enacting laws and regulations governing society, according to some, with this action and reaction, they effectively approved and endorsed such a manner of protest as implementable and unobstructed for the people.
Therefore, it must be understood that if rulers function as role models and reference points for governance, they should respect the enacted laws and principles governing international relations, and then display a proportionate and reasonable response. Unfortunately, this reaction has caused embarrassment to many. Finally; when the Iranian people object to an issue and perhaps gather, shout, and demand their legal rights, pouring hot water on them, beating, arresting, and killing them in prison are also ruthless reactions that unfortunately occur in violation of both domestic and international laws. By responding in this manner, Iran’s rulers have effectively endorsed their recent oppressive crackdowns.
