Missing News of a Young Christian Activist

After Iranian security forces arrested a young Christian activist in Mahabad and transferred him to an unknown location, no accurate information about his condition has been available so far.

“Saman Rahmani” is a young Christian activist from Mahabad who was arrested by officials from the Mahabad Intelligence Department on charges of “changing religion and converting to Christianity,” and to date no precise information about his condition is available.

The arrest of this 28-year-old citizen took place on Saturday, the 28th of Esfand of the current year.

He, who is the son of one of Mahabad’s clerics, had secretly converted to Christianity two years ago.
