Reza Pahlavi on Iran National Revolution Television: Calls for Government Forces to Join the People

In remarks broadcast on Iran National Revolution Television, Reza Pahlavi called on military, security, and government forces to distance themselves from the government and join the people. He also spoke of the “National Cooperation to Save Iran” campaign and emphasized the necessity of planning for a transitional period.
In his remarks, referring to what he described as the weakening of the Islamic Republic, Reza Pahlavi held the government responsible for dragging Iran into war and called on military, law enforcement, security forces, and government employees to separate their path from the government and stand alongside the people.
In part of his statement, he presented the possibility of forces joining the people, according to him those who did not participate in suppressing the people, and spoke of an “amnesty” for this group. This call came alongside his warning about the consequences of continuing cooperation with the government’s suppressive apparatus.
Pahlavi also invited audiences to join the “National Cooperation to Save Iran” campaign. This campaign was introduced with the goal of establishing communication with military, law enforcement, security, and government forces. He went on to speak of the existence of plans for a transitional period, maintaining the country’s stability, and guaranteeing civil freedoms.
Prince Reza Pahlavi said in his message addressed to the Iranian people and government forces:
“Noble and brave nation of Iran,
The Islamic Republic is no longer the regime that governed Iran one year ago. This regime is now weaker than ever before, and its lost leader and other leaders fear the power of the Iranian nation more than anything else—fear of a nationwide and effective uprising that will end the existence of this satanic regime.
This criminal faction and its terrorist Revolutionary Guards have dragged our beloved homeland into war and endangered Iran’s existence. The Guards’ control over the country’s institutions and plundering of national resources are the main cause of the deteriorating economic and security situation in Iran.
These villains have left the people with no bread, no security, and no hope for the future. To preserve their power, they are willing to sacrifice Iran and Iranians. But our wounded and suffering homeland can no longer bear further losses. We must join hands and seize every opportunity to save Iran.
We have plans both for overthrowing the Islamic Republic and for governing Iran afterward; a clear plan aimed at maintaining the country’s security and stability during the transitional period, guaranteeing people’s fundamental freedoms, and meeting citizens’ basic needs.
To military, law enforcement, and security forces: join the people and stand alongside the people on Iran’s day of freedom to receive amnesty. But if you remain alongside the oppressors and participate in crimes against the people, you will be held accountable before the law and justice.
This time, I invite not only military and government forces, but all Iranians, from various segments who have grown weary of this regime and desire a free and prosperous future for Iran, to contact my team directly through the address @BarkhizIranBot on Telegram and join the National Cooperation to Save Iran campaign today.
We are ready to triumph over the Islamic Republic and write a new future for Iran, the region, and the world.
Long live Iran, Reza Pahlavi”
The call for government forces to join the people and establish communication channels with them had previously been raised in Reza Pahlavi’s positions. On February 23, 2026, in a message published on his official channel, he spoke of the role of military and government forces in Iran’s developments and called on them to cooperate with the “National Cooperation” campaign. Iran International News Agency also reported this call on the same date.
The broadcast of these remarks on Iran National Revolution Television has once again highlighted the question of the role of forces within the government structure in Iran’s political developments and how to manage the transitional period. However, the claims made about the government’s condition, war, and transitional period plans represent Reza Pahlavi’s positions and assessments, and their realization depends on subsequent developments.
