Fire in Tabriz's historic bazaar ends with 29 injured

A fire in "Iki Qapilar", one of the historical and covered bazaar houses in Tabriz, ended with 29 injuries and damage to dozens of shops and rooms.
This part of Tabriz's historic bazaar caught fire on Wednesday evening, May 8.
According to ISNA news agency, quoting the head of emergency services at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, the fire has left 29 injured and traumatized, 19 of whom are firefighters.

The same news agency quoted the director of the Tabriz Bazaar World Heritage Site as saying that the fire damaged "about a hundred shops."
