Kermanshah province has the highest unemployment rate in Iran

Kermanshah province, with an unemployment rate of 16.2 percent, has the highest unemployment rate among the provinces in the country, and the presence of about 155,000 unemployed people in Kermanshah has consistently placed this province in the first to third ranks in terms of unemployment rate in recent years.

Also, in terms of inflation rate in the last 12 years, Kermanshah province has always ranked first in the country with an average of 20 percent, and 43 percent of the province's 963 industrial units are currently closed, and 55 percent of these units continue to operate at half their capacity and face various problems.

The unemployment rate among graduates in this province is also very high. The unemployment rate among graduates or people studying in higher education centers who are in the active population group is 18.3 percent in the country and 28.5 percent in Kermanshah province.
