Applying restrictions on clothing for men in offices and public places

The spokesperson for the Headquarters for Encouraging Virtue and Forbidding Vice announced the imposition of restrictions on clothing for men in offices and public places.

After women, it is now the turn of men to be restricted in their clothing. Last week, wearing a tie was used as an excuse to prevent the holding of a national conference of the Bar Association across the country. In this regard, the Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution also spoke about the men's hijab.

He announced that just as women's clothing in public spaces must be appropriate, men's clothing must also be appropriate. Especially in office environments, guidelines have been issued that must be followed in the country's public spaces and more seriously in offices.

Following this notification and indicators, government employees must refrain from wearing offensive clothing, branded clothing, short sleeves, tight clothing, short pants, and wearing ties. If this framework is not adhered to, the violator will be given a warning in the first stage according to the approved framework and will be investigated in the second stage in the field of administrative violations.

This framework must also be observed in public spaces, otherwise action will be taken against it.

Until now, the way women dress was considered a factor in arousing men, but now they have become sensitive to the way men dress and are prohibiting them from wearing clothes that are their right to choose. The Islamic Republic system even has an opinion on the way men dress, people who not only do not have freedom of speech and belief, but also do not have freedom of dress.
