Masih Alinejad's brother reveals pressure on his family

Masih Alinejad's brother has stated in a video he sent to his sister that the Ministry of Intelligence's pressure on their parents has increased dramatically. The Ministry of Intelligence has asked these parents to speak out against Masih in front of a television camera.
Masih Alinejad, a political and women's rights activist, has released a video of her brother, which she recorded and sent to Masih before his arrest.
In this video, Ali Alinejad tells his sister that the pressure on their mother and father to go on television and "expose" their son Masih Alinejad has increased dramatically.
In this video, Masih's brother says that they have been to Masih's father's house twice so far (up until the time of recording this video). Masih's mother told the intelligence agents that our family had gone to the front and that only these two children (Ali and Masih) had different ideas from the rest, and she asked them not to go to their house and "not to tarnish their reputation on the spot."
According to Masih Alinejad's brother, his mother told him that we might have to speak out against Masih for the sake of our other children and told him twice, "You and Masih, don't be upset by us."
Apparently, Masih Alinejad's mother believes that if she goes on television and speaks out against Masih, the chances of her son Ali being arrested will be reduced. However, Ali Alinejad was arrested shortly after the video was recorded.
In this video, Masih's brother tells him that he must be prepared for the fact that today and tomorrow these pressures will bear fruit and that his parents will go on television and speak out against him.
Ali Alinejad also said: "I am not at all worried about my arrest. The only thing that upsets me is that the family will be facing each other."
Brother Masih also said that the reason for recording and sending this video was Masih's constant request to families who were being harassed and persecuted by the "regime", and Masih advised them not to remain silent. He continued: "Now I give you permission to speak as soon as I am arrested. Don't worry about anything. You are right, I like you too, keep up the good work."
Last week, Masih Alinejad announced on his Instagram page that his brother, as well as his ex-wife's siblings, had been arrested.
Amnesty International also responded to the pressure exerted on Masih Alinejad's relatives by issuing a statement on Wednesday, September 25.
The statement of this human rights organization states that the Iranian government is trying to silence women's rights activists by arresting their relatives.
In an interview with DW, Masih Alinejad said: “I want to make it very clear here that what is happening now is nothing more than a continuation of what they have been doing to suppress and silence our movement all these years: like the arrest and sentencing of Saba Kord Afshari, a 20-year-old girl, to 24 years in prison, a girl whose crime was joining the White Wednesdays movement. Or Yasman Ariani and her mother, who were each sentenced to 16 years in prison simply for protesting against the compulsory hijab on White Wednesdays. Or Mojgan Keshavarz, who gave flowers to women on the subway and was sentenced to 23 years in prison. You see, in August, six women were sentenced to a total of 109 years in prison. Why? What was their crime? Simply protesting the compulsory hijab as one of the main pillars of the Islamic Republic.”
